In western direction along the Sauerland Radring Nordschleife lies the Hennesee. Here you will also find the WELCOME Hotel as well as a ship berth of the "MS Hennesee" - a motor ship, which offers space for 400 people. The ship traffic takes place from Easter to the end of October.
To the north along the Hennen Boulevard is Meschede's city center. It has undergone an intensive transformation in recent years. In the course of the REGIONALE 2013, among other things, the Ruhr promenade was redesigned and the Winziger Platz was redesigned by opening up the Henne.
