Tradition and modernity shape the character of the city of Delbrück. The numerous sights include the Boker-Heid Canal, also known as the Boker Canal for short. It is a 32 kilometer long artificial water canal between Paderborn and Lippstadt. Today, the canal is an important cultural monument in Westphalia and its locks are of great significance for the landscape. In the immediate vicinity is also the "Dreiländereck" with the court site "Zum freien Stuhl". At this place the districts Paderborn, Gütersloh and Soest meet.
